Meet Kenneth Livesay, DMD
A board-certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Kenneth Livesay’s goal is to provide the highest level of patient-centered surgical care in a comforting environment.
About Dr. Livesay
A native of Louisville, Dr. Livesay was inspired to pursue oral surgery because it was a way for him to help people of all ages. Unlike other specialties, where age range or available services may be limited, oral surgery allows Dr. Livesay to connect with children, teens, and adults. He opened Innovative Oral Surgery & Dental Implant Center in 2005 with the goal of being able to provide outstanding surgical care and first-class patient experiences. From simple treatments to complex surgical procedures, Dr. Livesay feels privileged to serve his Louisville community.
Dr. Livesay fosters a welcoming and calm environment with experienced staff and doctors. He believes in having direct and meaningful conversations with his patients to ease their anxiety and concerns, and taking the time to address any questions.
Hobbies & Interests
Dr. Livesay loves spending time with his wife and three children, and their three dogs, as well as traveling, supporting the University of Louisville athletics, and boating. He also enjoys shopping, fast cars, and gadgets.
Education & Residency
After completing his undergraduate education at Bellarmine College, Dr. Livesay went to the University of Louisville School of Dentistry, where he earned his DMD degree. He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville.

Dr. Livesay is board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS) and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology (NDBA). He is also a member of several organizations, including:

Dr. Livesay is also a certified Cardiopulmonary Life Support Provider and Basic Life Support provider.
